*During the truth post, a certain doctor was unfortunately too late to join the party in the original post. However, that does not mean he should be left entirely out of the fun, does it? No, certainly even doctor Faust, doing his usual check-up around camp should have a chance at baring his soul, confessing his woes, letting the relief of talking his issues over with a fellow, understanding soul soothe him!

Or he could be heading into exactly the wrong kind of discussion on entirely the wrong kind of subject with the wrong kind of person as well, but... surely his luck cannot be that bad?*

*Is it possible he is lying? Trying to play calm and rational while looking ever deeper into Faust's mind, prying breaking calmdown putting his nose where it doesn't belong calmdown does he already know is he just toying CALM. DOWN.

The illusion of sanity will not be broken. Not today. Not now. Living this stationary life is taking it's toll, but he will not break. Not yet. But his chaotic mind cannot calm down enough to calmly analyze Stein, cannot discern if he is lying or not. Stein has the advantage now, the better hand and a glimpse at his own. In these situations, all one can do is bluff, flee or push onwards. But bluffing will not work when truth is all that can be said, fleeing would be feeding his curiosity, but heading forward, despite knowing that he will only tell the truth... that is the only option without certainties.

And sometimes, all doctors must take a risk, no matter how much they hate it.*

... It is strange. How you could want for more when you already have such power, over a field that I cannot even grasp in my wildest dreams.

I would think that was obvious, Doctor Faust. Everyone wants what they don't have. Not only that but you have skills in fields of study and combat that I most likely do not and that makes me more uncomfortable and envious.

Combat? I'm surprised you say that, doctor Stein. I have only rudimentary self-defense training: most of my combative skill is knowing how muscles and bones work, and using that knowledge to my advantage.

... you can't seriously mean you haven't had any actual training. That just wouldn't be fair at all.

In terms of physical capacity and versatility, I am easily the second most powerful non-ki using human being in my world, Doctor Stein. I do not need such training to know where and how to strike in order to kill or incapacitate.
